SPOUSE INTEGRATION PROGRAM

Studies show that the spouse has a pivotal role in the adaptation process of the executive expatriated to a new country by strongly influencing his/her productivity in the work environment. Whereas an expatriate, as an employee, is easily engaged in the organizational structure and involved with activities and workmates, the spouse usually stays home, without a pre-established role or routine, and very often without friends.

The purpose of our Spouse Integration Program is to promote awareness in the role and real expectations of the spouse in the destination, through self-knowledge and identification of the various possibilities of action within the new environment.

This program focuses on opportunities in the personal and professional arenas, making the integration into the new environment easier.

The methodology of our program is structured as follows:


Personality Style Assessment - Stimulates self-knowledge and understanding of the SELF and its effects on interpersonal relations, as individuals of diversified temperaments and cultural backgrounds.


Adaptability Inventory - Analyses the competency of intercultural adaptation to changes and expatriation, focusing on several dimensions, of which values autonomy, flexibility, perceptivity and emotional resilience are some.


Professional and Personal Development Orientation - Evaluates expectations, defines real possibilities and develops action plans to promote networks as well as social and professional integration. The different phases of the program are, but not limited to:

Outplacement.
Education (Sabbatical opportunity).
Volunteer activity.
Socialization.
Hobbies.
Full dedication to home and family.
Others.

Check In Calls - Monitors, for a period of four months, the awareness process, the ups and downs of the adaptation curve as well as the action plan implementation in the new context.

This program can be undertaken during the expatriation, assignment and repatriation phases. We are flexible and make use of adequate tools and have effective prices according to our clients' needs.
