Assessment
Both home and host countries players need to get to know the executive and his/her family's needs, so that all can work in synchronicity. Team players are the success key to a smooth transition between home and host locations. This stage consists of interviews and debriefing that is expected to lead to a strategic plan for conducing a hassle-free and effective expatriation program.



Acquaintance Trip
The purpose of this trip is to lay out live Brazilian way of living and Living In Brazil® as it is so that misassumptions don't get on their way of adapting later on to Brazil. This familiarization trip is the key to a successful and healthy acceptance of the differences of the new location.

Program:
1-day program or 2-day program, including face-to-face and back up support. Program length depends on the destination city and/or company and family's needs, covering, but not limited to:

City Tour.
Geographic Orientation.
Cost of Living - groceries, garment, furniture and home appliances and general shopping overview.
Property samples - house and apartment.
Hospitals.
Schools.
Cultural aspects.
Legal and practical procedures Overview (immigration, cultural, educational, customs approach).

Home-Hunting Program
We intend, through our Home-Finding program, to save time and money to our corporate client as well as minimize hassles and bureaucracy to families. We advocate for our clients' best interests by negotiating legal terms, prices, diplomatic clauses and liveable and safety conditions of the property. During that time, families are assigned a single-point manager to help coordinate different players with the focus of find and securing a property as soon as possible. Once property is chosen, our same representative should assist the family with any post-move issues.

Though each program will differ according to the specific needs of each expatriate family, basically the following services throughout the course of the program should be covered.

Program:
A minimum of a 2 and a maximum of a 5 day program, including face-to-face and back up support. Program length depends on the destination city and/or company and family's needs, covering, but not limited to:

Property prospecting and pre-visits to housing options by our company representative.
Counselor-accompanied real estate appointments.
Help with identifying and selecting a home.
Assistance with lease negotiations and finalization of lease observing clients' interests.
Inspection report and technical details by an engineer, if necessary.
Arrangement for telephone installation and utility hook-ups.
Home repairs and maintenance.
Follow-up occupancy.
Expiration and adjustment dates.
Hot Line for related issues.

Settling-In Program
Our mission , throughout our assistance, is to help families accommodate in Brazil as early and comfortably as possible, and to make them reach the adaptation level soon so that they can reach the beautiful feeling of belonging. Our satisfaction is when we they re-conquer their autonomy, leading the same life they use to in their country, though in different context.

Program:
A minimum of a 1 and a maximum of a 5 day program, including face-to-face and back up support. Program length depends on the destination city and/or company and family's needs, covering, but not limited to:

Furnishing - rent, purchase or shipment clearance.
Assistance with local and international schools.
General advice and recommendations on all aspects of Living In Brazil®.
Opening bank accounts.
Driving regulations.
Spouse activities including coursework, volunteer activities and expatriate organizations.
Understanding Brazilian health plans.
Understanding public transportation systems.
Nannies and domestic help.
Leisure activities and shopping.
Ongoing telephone support for advice and service referrals.

Shipment Coordination and Clearance Program
Moving belonging from one country to another is tiresome and bureaucratic. Unplanned shipment and unmet timeframes are frustrating and cause emotional stress and money. Customs clearance is another stress adding factor. Through our Shipment and Clearance Coordination Program, we intend to save time, money and avoid double costs to employer while helping families plan their move, in concert with visa, home renting and schooling deadlines.

Home Maintenance
It´s a headache for locals to deal with contractors and home supply stores and manage time, spouse and family expectations, while at the same time protecting one's productivity against stress. So imagine the same for foreigners who don't speak the language and understand how things are done.

We employ a great network of well-selected, trained and certified engineering companies so that we can better refer you to home maintenance coordination programs, that can be contracted on an hourly basis or by project. Clients can chose how and when to take advantage of this assistance during the processes of:

Home-Hunting.
Settling-In stage.
Departure.

Some professionals are, but not limited to: engineers, architects, decorators, designers, electricians, plumbers, painters, landscapers, pool-men, bricklayers, carpenters, cleaners, etc.


Emergency Assistance
Problems like to arise when we least expect them, and dealing with them alone, especially in a foreign country, can be difficult and often frightening.

That's why we like to stand by our clients in times of need and distress, and offer our emergency services, which clients are urged to use in times of serious emergencies.

We offer these services 24 hours-a-day, beyond working hours, which must be used for emergencies such as:

electric (surges) and water (leaks) problems
locksmiths
health emergencies
accidents
